Bill Gates announced MS Windows 10 Nov, 1983. Microsoft introduced Windows as a graphical user interface for MS-DOS (which was introduced two years ago). The first version of Windows (1.0 to 3.11) was based, which used to run from MS-DOS, later Windows 95, although still based on DOS. Windows 95 later introduced many features to be part of the product, such as the Start Menu, Task Bar, Windows Explorer (named File Explorer in Windows 8).

In 1997, Microsoft added another new feature Internet Explorer, as well as the controversial Windows desktop update. Its only purpose was to integrate web users and Internet Explorer. Along with Microsoft brings more new features to Windows, Such as the ability to display desktop wallpapers and JPEG Images in Windows Explorer.
Microsoft introduced Windows 98 in 1998 with Windows Desktop Update and Internet Explorer already present. Inclusion of two features (Internet Explorer and Windows Desktop Update) in Windows came out in USA with an Anti Trust Case. A plug and play feature is also provided in Windows 98, which automatically configures the device to make it work and it supports USB Without rebooting the system.

In 2000, the DOS based final version was introduced Windows ME for consumers, there were some additional features in it, such as system restore, help and support center, disk defragmenter and system tool. Microsoft introduced Windows NT 3.1 in 1993, the first version of the newly developed Windows NT operating system. This is a completely 32-bit operating system, which is exactly the opposite of the operating system 9x series. File allocation table (Fat) used in DOS and DOS-based operating system, 3.1 was replaced by the NTFS filesystem.

In 1996, a full 32-bit version of Windows Explorer was written specifically that was included in Windows NT 4.0. And because of this it works like Windows 95. Windows NT was originally designed and developed to work on servers and high-end systems. However, when Windows 2000 was released, many features of Windows 95 and Windows 98, such as Windows Desktop Update, Internet Explorer 5, USB support and Windows Media Player were included. All these features were continued and further exposed and expanded when Microsoft Windows XP was launched. Windows XP was introduced with a new theme Luna which provides Windows XP with a more user-friendly interface.

Windows vista has focused on operating system security features like computer account control, which can prevent computer viruses and other malware software. New features include updated version of the solitaire standard game, windows aero, Windows Movie Maker and Windows Mail instead of Outlook Express. Despite of all these features, Vista was severely banned for poor performance on the older hardware and at the time of high system requirements. in 2009, windows 7 was launched officially, and having all the vista technically features, reviewers noted it will work better than vista. Several additional features were removed in Windows 7 such as Windows Mail, Windows Photo Gallery and Windows Movie Maker, Regardless, Microsoft Windows 7, people were very much liked for it’s better performance. After this, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 were introduced with a lot of changes, which were rejected by the user and also faced criticism by reviewers.

Windows 10 is the current version of Microsoft Windows. Unlike some features such as the Start menu and the Universal Windows platform instead of always full screen, which was removed in Windows 8, has been re-added to Windows 10. Windows 10 was adopted very well, by reviewers also mentioned about the features of version 10. Windows 10 marks the last version to be traditionally released. Instead, two-time feature updates (Crater Update and Fall Crater Updates) are released in the year which offer new capabilities.
